Get Initiative Screenwriting Contest Scoring

Deadline has EXPIRED!!  Thank you and good luck!!

Each script will be graded on 5 aspects, 10 points each.

Technical

Form, format.  Not the content, but the way it's put on paper.  Is it in an acceptable script
format?  Is it easily readable?

Content

Is it well written?  Any typos or grammatical errors?

Development

Is it a good story?  Believable characters/plot?  This will also cover character names,....we
wouldn't want 100 movies about "John Smith", now, would we?

Marketability

Have we seen it a dozen times before or is it so out there that no-one would want to see it?

Summaries

Being able to summarize your story is very important.  A well-worded short summary can
make a good query letter great.  Longer summaries (synopsis/treatment) are needed sometimes
for submissions and are great practice for a "pitch" session.
