Visiting Speaker Workshop Series
Tues Aug 5th, 6pm, LA producer Cheryl Croasmun (Class 3 Entertainment) will be
speaking in Springfield IL at KICKs Family Entertainment. This will be a half class/half
Q&A session about producing and what producers are looking for, and there will be a
short pitch session afterwards.
Anyone wishing to pitch must bring a 1 page synopsis and, of course, their best pitch.
Depending upon how many people show, actual pitch length may be VERY limited, so be
prepared to just pitch a logline.
This event costs $15 (which includes the buffet at KICKs) and the proceeds benefit the
Writing Initiative and its series of guest speaker workshops. Planned for the near
future, screenwriting and special f/x workshops. Also, once this gains momentum, we
will start planning workshops in other cities.
Class 3 Entertainment specializes in creating high-concept ideas for reality and scripted
television and feature films. As producers, Hal and Cheryl Croasmun fully develop
original ideas and attach talent that brings the projects to life.
